Dr. Dendrite and the Twisted Synapses is a group of local physicians and friends that play a variety of music styles and songs. Concert goers can expect a mixture of classic rock including the Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Eagles, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Cocker and Janis Joplin. The Dendrites include CNOS Neurologist James Case; CNOS Neurosurgeons Ralph Reeder and Quentin Durward; CNOS Orthopaedist Michael Genoff; Tim Cowles, Kelli Fernando, Michelle Gielski, and Brent Witthoeft. The band only plays benefits and does so for local nonprofit organizations three to four times a year.
